UPDATE 03/13/19: All 6 dogs at the home have been taken into custody, the 2 dogs responsible for the attack have been confirmed by Animal Services as an American Staffordshire Terrier mix and an American Bulldog mix. Both dogs will be quarantined for 10 days before being euthanized. An investigation as to if any type of criminal activity could be responsible for this attack is on-going. – WCJB
High Springs, FL – Two dogs attacked and killed a 2-year old boy and severely injured his grandmother, according to the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office. The vicious attack occurred about 10:30 am at a home on Northwest 210th Avenue, between High Springs and Interstate 75. The toddler died of his injuries at the scene. The woman was transported to a hospital with traumatic injuries. Neither of the victims lived at the property, according to Lieutenant Brett Rhodenizer. – DogsBite.org
